Little Explorer’s Play Hour

Reynolds-Alberta Museum

Looking for a creative outlet for the kids this winter? The museum is offering the ‘Little Explorers Play Hour’ from 10:30 am until 11:30 am every Wednesday from Jan. 9 until Feb. 27

Wetaskiwin Emergency Shelter

Feb 12th – March 31st

Wetaskiwin Civic Building

The shelter is open 7pm to 8am for donation drop offs and volunteer staffing.  Duties include but are not limited to: ensuring a calm and safe atmosphere, logging the arrival / departure of volunteers and clients, and keeping the premises tidy. Acceptable donations include non perishable items and clothing/toiletries/blankets, etc

Wetaskiwin Fire Servives vs The Wetaskiwin RCMP.  There’s a tailgate party from 5 to 7pm.  Puck drops at 715pm.  Admission is by donation with proceeds going to Special Olympics

The Millet and District Recreational and Ag Society presents A Night with Tom Jones and Friends on Saturday, February 16th at the Millet Agriplex. Tickets include dinner and the show. Tickets are $45 available at the Millet Town Office, The Millet Liquor Store.

You can come at 5:00 with the early birds, or at 6:00 and stay as long as you want, especially if you like doing dishes.  All money raised is to sponsor kids going to camp this summer.

Take a bite out of our games and crafts to learn about agriculture and how food goes from the field to your fork!  Discover practices like milling grain, weaving yarn, growing crops, and roping cattle. Don’t get ‘fenced-in’ at home during family day, trot over to the museum for some FREE farming fun!  You can call the Heritage Museum for more details at 780-352-0227.

$22 for show only; $50 for show, dinner/brunch. Performances will be February 13 and 14 starting at 7:30.  February 15 and 16 have dinner theatre options as well as just the performances. Doors will open at 5:30 and dinner is at 6 and the performance will start at 8, doors for the performance only will be 15 minutes before the performance.  February 17 has brunch theatre options as well as just the performances. Brunch will be at 12:30, with doors opening at noon, and the performance will start at 2:30
